“ Great find in Landrum. Small family run restaurant. I had the Aussie burger. It was outstanding and a real bargain, if you are used to paying the prices in Greenville, SC. Will be back! For dinner they serve steak and fish. Still can get sandwiches. Can’t wait to come for dinner. We split the handmade chocolate pecan pie. It good. ”
“ Landrum's best kept secret. While the Harvest House is unassuming outside, it is quite the opposite inside. Food would rival any 5-star restaurant. We started with the Fried Green Tomato Tower, Layered with pimento cheese & Bacon, drizzled with balsamic glaze is a must. For the Entree's, I had the Center Cut Pan Roasted Pork Chop topped with a toasted pecan and local apple chutney paired with Sauteed Spinach and stone ground grits. My wife had the Pan seared beef tips with port wine mushroom and a caramelized onion cream sauce served over mashed potatoes, paired with sauteed mixed veggies. For dessert, we chose the House made Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie and a fruit berry pie with rhubard, strawberry, blackberry, apple (Seasonal) . Everything, including the friendly service was excellent. ”
“ Super friendly....super delicious ”
“ Excellent food and great service. I ordered the fried green tomato tower which was fantastic, then a cup of crab bisque that was rich and tasty. For my main course I had shrimp and grits, which was amazing. We got the 30 minutes before closing and we waited another 15 for our other friend to get there. They we very accommodating. ”
“ Love this place, looks like a sort of hole in the wall, but the chef works with fresh local sourced produce & meats. I tried to take a picture of my plate, but my phone died. They offer surprisingly good wines also! Update: yesterday for lunch, it was a pimento cheese extravaganza! Shared pimento cheese fries (think bacon, carmelized onions, balsamic reduction.) And then the pimento cheese fried green tomatoes tower. Amy got the Wipeout Salad , brie, pineapple an other goodies over spinach. So good! ”
“ Great food and service today. Very clean local restaurant. Food was exceptional. They have lunch and dinner...as well as specials. We were there for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. I had the Spinach/Feta Quiche lunch special and my husband had the Pimento Cheese burger (hand- patted) and sweet potato fries. Fresh and delish! Our server was bubbly and quick with the order, drinks and food. Can't wait to go back to try dinner! ”
“ Nice country restaurant, good selection of lunch items including a couple of vegetarian options. ”
“ It was all good. Beef Tips with mash and collards, The Big Cheese Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, and Duck Bruschetta. Don't bother trying to eat the burger with your hands. It is a wonderful mess. Ditch the bread and go fork and knife. Desserts were Banana Pudding and Pecan Chocolate pie to go. Service was fantastic. ”
